It should be obvious from that big red button over there on the right, but just in case you missed it, EyeCandy now has a Pinterest page. Actually, I've had it for a while but only recently started to fill it with content. Please do stop on by sometime and check it out!

Canvas of the Week
A quick update this morning, featuring my Summer Ladybug Star canvas, 6" x 6" on 18 count canvas. A nice warm design for this cold, winter-y week. Yes, even here in Houston we are getting the arctic blast, with lows in the '20's expected. That's pretty cold for us! Happy Stitching!

Ahh, Sunny San Diego!
Already missing my time in San Diego for the TNNA market! This market is not always held in San Diego, but when it is, it's not to be missed! The weather was spectacular (as you can see from the photo below, courtesy of Vickie De Angelis) but also the convention center is right in the fabulous Gaslight District and is a very short hop over to Coronado island.
I was very fortunate to be there as a guest of my frequent publisher, Needlepoint Now magazine. Here's a look at the very colorful booth, photo courtesy of Vickie again:
Being in the midst of so many restaurants, we went out to eat every chance we got, plus to enjoy the terrific weather. Saturday night, we feasted on the amazing sushi at Nobu:
Sunday night we all shared yummy plates of American comfort food at Searsucker:
And, unlike the last time I attended a San Diego TNNA, it wasn't even Restaurant Week!
Sorry, but I actually don't have any needlework photos for you! Shame on me for that, but do go to Jane's Chilly Hollow blog for the most comprehensive Market report you will ever see! For the direct link, click here.
Until next time, Happy Stitching!

Market Week Miscellany!
Happy New Year!! Hope your holiday season was a great one! Mine was pretty busy, since in addition to all the holiday activities I have been preparing for the upcoming TNNA market in San Diego, as well as trying to decide on a canvas for the 2014 Stitching Games over on Stitcherie. Maybe things will slow down a little in February, I hope!
Before I get to that stuff, I have a cute finish to show off. Linda from the blog "Split the Needles" posted her finished "Fred" recently and it came out super cute! This is my Peeky Kitty canvas with a lot of creative enhancement by Linda and Susan Portra. Great work ladies, and thanks for sharing!
Next, this is the canvas I am considering stitching for this year's Stitching Games. It's one of my own designs, the Witch's Garden Collage. I anticipate a busy year, so I thought I had better kill two birds and get some model stitching done at the same time!
Lastly, here is a sort-of preview of what will be new in my Winter 2014 collection. My little "Cardinal Joy" canvas from last winter's collection was a big hit, so I'm adding three companion pieces, "Love", "Merry" and "Bright". Pop in back here next week to check them out!
