Pumpkin Plaid Candy Corn
The official release date for Crazy Patch Boo-nanza is right around the corner, so let's get right to the next Candy Corn in the line up! The Pumpkins & Plaid corn is all sparkle and texture:
I wish you could see this top-most band in person, it looks like sequined rick-rack! So shimmery with beads, sequins and Rainbow Gallery's Water N'Ice ribbon:
The pumpkins are fun in a variegated orange with swirly Memory Thread stems:
So many threads and stitches on the plaid section, so fun to stitch!
We're on the home stretch now, just one more corn and one more pumpkin to go! See you back soon!

Plaid Pumpkin From Crazy Patch Boo-nanza
The Argyle plaid pattern in the center is made of both sparkly threads and fuzzy threads!
The stripe bands are a fun and very quick stitch:
The outer bands feature more fun flower sequins-- these are holographic orange and oh-so pretty!
I used the same threads for the stems on all three pumpkins, but stitched them all differently:
Only two more corns and one pumpkin left to go! The club officially starts to ship April 1, so there is still time to get your name on the sign-up list at your favorite LNS. And once you get started stitching, if you have any questions at all, be sure to contact me here at the blog and I'll be happy to help!

The top band is gussied up with Memory thread and Swarovski crystal sequins.
The middle is a very fun and quick to stitch Argyle pattern accented with Holographic ribbon for extra sparkle!
The bottom features rows of yummy Candy Corns!
Here is a peek at the unstitched canvas. Did I mention quick to stitch?
This club starts in just a couple of weeks! Please check my distributor, Ruth Schmuff's page for a list of participating stores.

Stitchy Stuff
I realized it's been a while since I updated you on the Stitching Games over on Stitcherie. Last month's clue was "Cheese", so I stitched in my the face and hair on my canvas, with the story that my Little Witch (canvas by Patty Paints) was getting ready for picture day at Spell School. Making up the stories that go along with these clues add so much fun to the actual stitching-- go check out the discussion group over on Stitcherie to see what I mean, our participants have really come up with some entertaining yarns (no pun intended!)
Next up is a fabulous stitch of my Pirate Mermaid by Andrea K of Stitch by Stitch in Larchmont, New York. Great work, love the beads! Be sure to check out the shop blog to see more!
And lastly, here is a stitched and in the finishing process Garden Party Heart by Jeannine Bartnicki of BeStitched Needlepoint in Scottsdale, Arizona. She has Carolyn Hedge Baird of the Chaparral in Houston choosing ribbons from the shop's extensive ribbon selection for the finisher to use when fabricating this into a pillow. I cannot wait to see it when it comes back!
Hope you've enjoyed looking, I'll be back by the weekend with more from Crazy Patch Boo-nanza!

Candy Time!
Time to share more from the Crazy Patch, presenting one of the two candy-themed Candy Corns! This one features Halloween colored hard candy swirls, all decked out in beads:
Here is the canvas as unstitched. All club canvases come with a full color, illustrated stitch guide.
The chartreuse green Holographic sequins come out to play once again, this time accenting the Horizontal Milanese stitch on the top band:
The center is a variation of Swirl Stitch in delicious shades of Silk Lame' Braid and Waterlilies silk:
The candies are made more dimensional with beading:
Hope you like what you see! Next week I'll show you the (very meta) "Candy Corn" Candy Corn! Until then, Happy Stitching!

From the Crazy Patch-- Plaid Pumpkin!
Here's my latest pick from Crazy Patch Boo-nanza, this time it's one of the pumpkins! Plaid Pumpkin features lots of glitz and glam with big, fun and quick to stitch stitches. Here's the whole pumpkin, photographed pre-finishing:
The pumpkin's outer ribs will give you lots of practice in laying your stitches, as they are all a smooth, shiny Satin stitch with highlights of metallic:
The inner ribs are really, really fun to stitch-- you get to add all these happy little flower sequins!
The center plaid section has you working with lots of diverse fibers, from silk/wools to Holographic ribbon and more!
Even the stem is glitzy!
Just for fun, here's a look at the unstitched canvas:
Here's the whole Crazy Patch again. Next week I'll share photos of a couple more of the Candy Corns!
