Fly Away Home!
Some cute finishes today, and a couple of them have been in the works for a long time! Not these Cardinals, though, these were stitched by Linda C., one of the quick stitchers in this year's Falling Star Club, and they are already finished and at home!
Love that dimensional star shape finish!
Next up are pieces from another club series, the last two Hoot Owls stitched by my friend Judy G. These will join the other 4 already at home and will complete the set! Congrats to Judy, they look great!!
These 3 Pumpkins and Candy Corns from my Crazy Patch club series are the first of 9 stitched by Rebecca S., and she still has 6 at the finisher to look forward to! I can't wait to see them either, especially if they look as good as these!
Great work everyone and thanks for sharing!!

A Good Week For Finishes!
Some really great finishing photos today, it's been a prolific week for EyeCandy!
This one is courtesy of Jermies Needlepoint, and it is my favorite, because it is so different!! This is my Vintage Skull Halloween Pail, but stitched in orange, who would have thought? I love it, I may have to stitch it again like this one!
Love this finish, also by TJ's, of my Stars N' Stripes canvas:

Here's the original-- so different! The orange color totally works on this though!
Rachel G. just got my Hoot Owl Trio back from New Creation Picture Framing and it is amazing!
Sherrin E.'s Caribbean Waves ornament is back from TJ's Finishing, love it!
Not the only one of my stars to be finished by TJ's lately, here's Susan B.'s Halloween Star:

Clearing the Decks!
Clearing the decks, meaning I have finally gotten around to some neglected business! First of all, Fancy Stitches has some extra class kits in stock for two of my designs, Easter Collage and Mod Merry. Be seasonal with Easter or get a jump start on Christmas, take your pick! Give them a call at 817 641 4761 to order.
Here is a great stitch of my Spring Meadow canvas that was entered in the 2015 Stitching Games by Carol S. It is gorgeous!
TJ's Finishing does a great job with my Seasonal Tree canvases, you can have them as a stand up or a tree ornament. This one was stitched by Annice H.
Finally we have these oldies but goodies, finished by Baltimore Needleworks:
Thanks for looking, see you soon!

A Quartet of Owls and More!
I have been waiting a long time to see these owls from my Hoot Hoot! club come back from West Coast Finishing and they were so worth the wait! Judy G. used mostly stash threads, so I love to see the variations between these and the original series models. And as always, I just love Sue Parson's finishing! Great work, ladies!
And here is a trio of my designs made up into pillows for your perusal, each has some interesting variations as well.
This is my Alpine Puzzle, courtesy of Fancy Stitches. I love that this small 6x6 design has been inset into a much larger pillow, and the color, wow! The bright had green is a very tiny part of the stitched piece, so I love that that color was chosen for the fabric, really makes it pop!
This is my Floating Hearts design, an 8 x 8 design that has been made into an only slightly larger pillow, and the extremely bright original colors have been greatly toned down, but I really like it! Good work to the ladies at Gone Stitching!
This amazing transformation of my Lilly Damask design is courtesy of Rita S. Originally in hot pink and lime green, Rita transformed into a very formal and elegant royal purple and green to better match her home decor. Love it!
Keep those great finishing photos coming folks, I love to see your creativity!

Cutie Hooties!
Sharing two super-cute finishes of my owl designs today! The first is my Spring Fever Owl, beautifully framed and customized for a special little girl. Thanks so much to stitcher Lori T. and 2 the Point Needlepoint for sharing the photo!
This one is my Hoot Owl Trio, stitched by Julie S. with great finishing by TJ's. Look at those googly eyes, love them!

More West Coast Finishing!
Here are a couple more cute finishes for you, this is my Harvest Owl, mounted on top of a finial. Thanks so much to West Coast for the photo! This is the first time I have seen one finished like this-- I like it!
This is my Garden Party Heart, stitched by Sue of West Coast Finishing. I am so happy that she finds some time to stitch for herself, and that she picked one of my designs too! Notice that she had it beautifully framed-- if I were a finisher, I'd probably have my stuff framed too-- I mean, no one wants to do their own finishing, right?

Spooky Stuff for Spring??
If you have any experience with Spring weather, you should know to expect anything, right? Certainly here in Houston last week I had thought that Spring was skipping us altogether and we were just jumping straight into Summer. This week it seems we are getting Spring after all, but looking at my blog today it seems like Autumn has arrived instead! That's the thing about needlepoint, it's any season, anytime! My finish photos for this week are from two of my earlier club series, Crazy Patch Boo-nanza, a whole table full of candy corns, courtesy of The Classic Stitch:
From Louise's Needlework, there is this very cute Spooky Owl from my Hoot Hoot series:
This is the first time I've ever seen these finished with little feet and I am just in love with them! So cute!
Hope you like my "seasonal" photos for today, Happy Stitching!

It's In the Bag!
I have two really cute finishes today, both are tote bags! This first one is my Harvest Colors Puzzle stitched by the daughter one of my most prolific fans, Gwynn L. So happy that she is getting the next generation into needlepoint and that one of my designs could be a part of it!
Next up is a finish by Jane A. at The Stitching Studio and this one surprised me as I had never pictured one of my Owls on a tote bag, but I think it totally works!
Pretty cool that the colors match so well on both totes, right? I think I'm going to have to make one or possibly both of these for myself! Better get to work then, Happy Stitching!

Judy's Owls
Judy G. has recently finished stitching all six of my Hoot Hoot! owls, using my stitch guides but her own stash threads, and they came out great, like all of Judy's stitching. I'm so happy to show the whole set off to you here today. Hopefully sometime soon I'll have more photos, when they come back from the finishers!

More New Designs!
As you may recall, I recently relocated to Texas. I am very happy to present to you the first designs in what will be an ongoing collection of Texas-themed canvases.
To start things off, I have a series of state-shape ornaments, each one is 5.5" at the widest point. These would also make a great centerpiece to a Texas-shaped throw pillow.
Each design is emblazoned with a word or slogan-- here is "Hey Y'all" (that's our favorite greeting, don't you know!)

And "Big & Bright", a phrase from the song "Deep in the Heart of Texas":
And simply, (for me anyway), "Home":
This one is "Love Texas" and would be a good addition to a tree of state-themed ornaments:
I have some state flag ornaments too-- these are 4" x 7", making for a Texas-sized ornament or a center for a pillow top.
"No Place Like Home", a sentiment I take to heart:
And something for the holidays, with a little Texas twist-- "Jingle Y'all the Way":
That's it for now, but there will soon be more to come in the Texas line (including a new owl for your favorite cowboy) and a new set of the latest "It" critters, namely, foxes! (In EyeCandy colors, of course!)
